Join me for a full day coloured pencil workshop focused on one of the trickiest textures for many pet portrait artists - soft, sleek flat fur.
While long or fluffy coats can often feel forgiving, short gleaming fur can be surprisingly difficult to recreate convincingly. Many artists struggle to capture the subtle direction changes, soft transitions, shine and smoothness without the fur looking harsh, scratchy or overworked. In this workshop, I’ll show you how to simplify the process and approach flat fur with confidence.
