This artwork has not been 'fixed' with a fixative, so a little dust will fall.
Pastel originals have a tendancy to drop a little dust over time. It is best to purchase a frame that includes a double mount/matt with a dust trap. This is a gap between the first and second mount/matt, and keeps your picture dust free.
